The incumbent in this position performs nursing functions in a collection centre of the National Blood Transfusion Service.

The incumbent performs specialized nursing functions in a collection centre of the National Blood Transfusion Service.

The incumbent in this position is required to provide administrative support to the Senior Medical Consultant in directing, coordinating and monitoring the activities of the National Blood Transfusion Service.

The Non Medical Epidemiologist collaborates with the Medical Epidemiologist to collate, analyze and input data relevant to disease surveillance and control throughout the nation.

The incumbent is a highly responsible professional with administrative responsibilities in the field of Quality Management.

The National Administrator Nursing Services is responsible for providing the nursing inputs required in the development of health policies and systems for regulating, monitoring and evaluating the national health service.

To provide assistance to the Manager- Mental Health in the co-ordination of projects, work plans and training sessions

To provide support to the Manager- Mental Health in the execution of data collection and analysis activities

The incumbent supervises all blood bank laboratory activities. Work involves supervising and training of laboratory staff and providing technical assistance where necessary. Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of the Medical Director.

The incumbent performs advanced laboratory procedures. Work involves supervision and training of junior colleagues. Participation in the administrative aspects of the laboratory’s work and quality management is expected.
