The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be required to supervise and participate in the preparation of bills of quantity for buildings and related civil engineering projects. Work includes the valuation of work-in-progress awarded by contract and preparation of certificates authorizing interim payments and settlement of final accounts.

The Incumbent will be required to develop and implement the Ministry’s research agenda by collecting, analyzing and disseminating information, for use in planning and policy formulation, in a timely manner.

The incumbent will be expected to provide support to the Director, Policy, Research and Planning in formulating policies and programmes with respect to the mandate of the Ministry of Sport and Community Development.

The incumbent is required to collate, analyse and present data to support the planning and development function of the Ministry.

The incumbent will be required to perform a strategic function by researching, analyzing, interpreting data and preparing reports to guide decision-making operations and stakeholder activities of the Ministry.

Responsible for planning, organizing and conducting programmes of research for the Planning and Implementation Unit of the Ministry.

To coordinate the activities with a view to maximising their effectiveness, of the various social programmes/ projects of the Ministry.

The incumbent will perform professional and supervisory work in the social sector planning and evaluation in the Ministry of Culture and Community Development.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of programmes and activities of the Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry.

Responsible for spearheading the research, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the programmes of the Ministry of Culture and Community Development.
